Your wrists go through a lot, and they let you know it! Fortunately some simple stretches can keep them calm and happy.
Stretch #1:
Extend your arm in front of you, flexing your hand so that your fingers are pointed to the ceiling.
With your other hand, grab the base of your fingers and your palm (DO NOT PULL ON YOUR FINGERS) and pull your whole hand back towards you.
Hold for a few seconds, then relax. Repeat a few times, as you feel is enough.
Stretch #2:
Pretty much the same as stretch #1, except the fingers are pointed toward the floor.
Grab hold of your hand, pull towards you.
Hold for a few seconds, then relax. Repeat a few times, as you feel is enough.
Stretch #3:
Put both hands flat together, elbows extended straight out to sides.
Press fingers together, while pulling the palms of the hands apart, then return to flat.
(Sometimes this exercise is called "spider doing push-ups on a mirror")
Repeat this for a few reps, until you feel this is enough.
Stretch #4:
Put both hands together, about the height of the middle of the chest, elbows extended straight out to sides.
Keeping both hands as tight together as possible, lower the hands straight down toward the waist, then return up to original position.
Repeat several times, until you feel this is enough.
