Many people have those "always tight" spots. It could be the neck and shoulders where you typically hold stress, or an old knee injury from youth that never quite healed right. Regular routine massage therapy treatments can often provide great help and relief in those always-tight spots and keep them from getting too bad. Unfortunately, many people will only resort to massage when those spots get so tight they become unbearable. If there are areas that chronically need attention due to chronic use or behavior (such as sitting in front of a computer for work, or playing a particular every weekend) then those tight spots should chronically need work. Get massage into your regular routine and those troubled spots will not "freak out" and tighten up as frequently or as badly if you make treating them as regular as creating them.
